The Medicine Trail

The Mi’kmaq have always recognized the healing properties of the many plants that grow in the forests, bogs, and barrens of southwestern Nova Scotia. As keepers and teachers of this sacred knowledge, we have used herbs and other plants to prevent illness, heal wounds, and cure disease for generations.
