Where We Are

Bear River First Nation Heritage and Cultural Centre is located at 194 Reservation Road, Bear River, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Map of areaFrom Highway 101, take Exit 24. Follow the Bear River about 5 km (2 miles) into the village. At the stop sign proceed across the road and you will pass the Fire Hall. Travel this road for about 1 1/2- km (less than 1 mile), pass the power dam, and continue up a long hill. As you go up the hill, the road will split into two; take the left road (Reservation Road) and continue up the hill; you are entering the Reserve. You can’t miss our building; it is the third large building on the right, the one with the wigwam-shaped entrance!
